International private equity
International private equity is the acquisition of a stake in companies that are not listed on public stock exchanges. The illiquidity of this asset class obliges investors to lock in their investment for 10 years or more.
The activities of the Nordmann Group's private equity arm are informed by a long-term vision and a sharp focus on diversification. It is currently building a portfolio of international private equity funds that will enable it to spread its investments across all industry sectors.
The Group hand-picks experienced fund managers based in North America and Europe, and targets mature small and mid-cap companies with a variety of investment vehicles, including buyouts, secondary funds and co-investments. Its goal is to make between four and five investments per year.
The Group also has a direct stake in a number of Swiss companies like Morphean SA (a Fribourg-based tech company specialising in smart business security solutions) and the Dr Gab's brewery in Puidoux (canton of Vaud).
